Volcano Booklet

The photos below are of our students cutting and correlating volcano booklets for a 2 day learning project. After putting the booklets together, we read an article about volcanoes. Prior to reading the article, students read the questions they would be answering so that they could then highlight important and helpful information in the article as we read it together.

On day 2, students used their highlighted articles to answer questions that pertained to types of volcanoes, advantages and disadvantages of eruptions as well as definitions for many volcanic specific vocabulary words. They worked hard and did a great job!
