We are a community of learners consisting of educators, students and parents/guardians. Working together we can create optimum learning for our children. This blog is a way for us to communicate and support the school - home connection. I'm passionate about teaching and learning. I strive to ignite an enthusiasm for learning that will last a lifetime in all my students!

Scrabble Flash

We've been learning a lot of the activities that are available during Word Work time. Students brought home samplings of some of the activities we were introduced to this week. On Friday most students got the opportunity to learn to play Scrabble Flash. The rest will learn how to play on Monday. There are 5 letters available once the game begins. Students have 60 seconds to create as many 3, 4 or 5 letter words as possible. When the time is up, the game shows how many words you created and how many you could have created.
