We are a community of learners consisting of educators, students and parents/guardians. Working together we can create optimum learning for our children. This blog is a way for us to communicate and support the school - home connection. I'm passionate about teaching and learning. I strive to ignite an enthusiasm for learning that will last a lifetime in all my students!

Space Projects

I am so proud of how hard are students are working on their space projects. They worked together with partners to research a planet or moon then chose between 3 formats to use to be the teachers and present their findings to the class: space brochure, poster, or space cube. Once their projects are complete, they will take turns teaching the class to demonstrate understanding and mastery of their topic. When this phase of our space unit is complete, students will use their knowledge of our solar system to design their own planet. This is what learning is all about!
